About how much of Panchito's life is affected by poverty?
Struggle are multidimensional. We identify this in Breaking Through. For example one of the struggles Panchito experienced is immigration status. The results of Panchito’s struggles are fear. Some examples from the text that provide evidence of this situation is that he feared being caught by the Border Patrol because he was an illegal immigrant, as soon as Panchito saw the man in the green uniform he panicked, and lastly he says that “As I got older my fear of being deported grew. I feared being caught by the Border Patrol.”

Why do you think Peggy's mom asked if he was Spanish? What's the difference between Spanish and Mexican?
My answer: Maybe Peggy's mom thought that they were going out and and wanted to know who he was, where he came from, and she also might have thought that her daughter was going out with a "slave". There really is no difference you speak spanish your not spanish. You are mexican. What I'm trying to say is if your mexican or you speak spanish and people ask "Are you spanish?" Just say "No but I do speak spanish and I'm Mexican."
Roberto and Panchito work 7 days a week, go to school, and study on Saturday nights. Do you think today's generation of teenagers have the same work/family ethic and values.
No, I don't think that today's generation of teens have the same work ethic and family values. Because usually some teens cause stress to their parents and sometimes that stress can lead the parents not paying their taxes their rent, or even cause them to drink, and smoke. Without paying the taxes or rent the family can go to poverty and can't pay for their child to go to school, which sometimes the teens might not even go to.
Put yourself in the shoes of a farmworker youth. Imagine working 14 hours in harsh conditions. What would be the hardest thing about this life for you?
The hardest thing for me would be woking in the hot sun, getting low payment, and getting diseases.
One of the farmworker kid says,"after all the work is over, nobody remembers the people. Or the children who worked. The farmworker is forgotten." Do you agree with this statement? Do these videos change the way you think about fruit and vegtables?Explain.
No, I do not agree with this statement because without the farmers we wouldn't have fruits and vegatables to eat. These videos do change the way i think about the fruits and vegatables because now I know how much work the farmworkers went through to get them selling in the markets.

Panchito's family sticks together, they help each other through poverty, and there is a high level of respect. Do you think Panchito made the right choice? Defend your answer.
I think Panchito made a right choice because now he's getting a better education that will help him get a new job whitch if the job gets high payment quality he can help his family and mabye even Robeto's family get out poverty. Which will help his family alot.
